Established in 1999, Nolan Rumsby Planners has built a reputation as one of Adelaide’s most respected urban and regional planning practices. We are renowned for our professional, ethical and practical approach to planning projects.

Combined, the planning team has a wealth of experience in a variety of fields from both public and private sectors.

We are committed to providing quality, sustainable planning outcomes for our clients and the community within South Australia and interstate.

The practice comprises five qualified and experienced planners including Alan Rumsby, Jeni Nolan, Danny Hahesy, Frank McIntyre and Matthew King. All of our planners are members of the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) and the founding Partners and Senior Associates are Certified Practicing Planners (CPP).

Support to the office is provided by Reuben Coulthard, Sue Edwards and Fil Russo.

Recent Projects
Alan has just completed a draft Development Plan Amendment (DPA) for the Goolwa Air Park ready for consultation. The DPA sets the framework for what will be SA’s first residential air park project.

Danny and Matthew are currently finalising a strategic policy review of ten townships for the Northern Areas Council. The Draft Spatial Outcomes Report will set the direction for future residential, industrial and commercial growth in the region to 2026.
